PORTRAIT DRAWING ...  About Us 

Csaba and I, Kevin, are local artists that enjoy the challenge of developing our drawing skills using various mediums.  

We have been part of a growing community of artists based in Milton Keynes for over two years now. So, having chatted, we decided to run evening portraiture sessions here in MK to encourage people to draw and also further develop the scene.

We started these portraiture sessions in January 2020 and are becoming quite popular. 

These sessions are an exploration for everyone, there are no rules, it’s an evening to meet other artists and to draw portraits whatever your ability and we are available to answer any questions you may have on the evening.  

I personally woke up one day and thought I want to be able to draw portraits and now I can. It’s surprising how social it is and if you capture the essence of someone how amazed they are.

PORTRAITURE EVENINGS ... Event Information 

Why not join us, we are a fun social group that love art and practice drawing at our relaxed untutored sessions. All ability levels are welcome, there is a great mix of styles and discussion among the regular artists. 

A model will be sitting for the session under studio lighting and these will alternate between male and female. 

We have a range of models that we use for our sessions and we provide materials including paper, drawing boards, pencils, charcoal and some pastels.  

Feel free to bring your own materials if you have something special you want to try. There’s even tea and biscuits to keep you going.

Day:      Last Tuesday of the Month  

Session Time:    7:00pm – 9:00pm.

The timed poses are as follows:   

#Warm up - Loosen arm and pencil storkes 

2 min pose 

3 min pose 

#Draw 2 poses  

25 minute pose   

25 minute pose   

#Break 10/15 Mins 

#Draw 1 long pose   

50 minute Pose 

These are the drawing times so please arrive a little earlier to set up and get settled. 

£15 per session.
